Civil Jury Clears House Candidate

A jury at a civil trial Tuesday decided a state House candidate did not attack his then-campaign manager in July 2008.

The jury, however, found Michael Anthony Walker did owe his former aide, Teresa R. Hill, $1,503 for breach of contract. Hill had sought $10,000 on that claim.

Walker, an Oklahoma City Democrat, is now running for House District 95 in eastern Oklahoma County. He lost his first try for the seat in 2008. He is 54.
