Political newcomer James Lankford (right) raised $95,573 in the reporting period that just ended, outdistancing rival Kevin Calvey (left) by more than $3,000.
Federal Election Commission reports for the two, filed overnight, show that Lankford continued to outpace Calvey in last-minute donations, $6,400 to $1,000, in the past 24 hours.
The reports show that while Lankford raised $95,573, Calvey raised $92,197 in the current period. Overall, Lankford has raised $471,145 to Calvey's $972,000. Calvey's total includes $250,100 he has loaned his campaign.
For the period, Lankford spent $131,680 to Calvey's $225,000.
Lankford shows $56,060 in cash on hand compared to $192,705 for Calvey.
