Donors Flocked To Lankford In 5th District Runoff

The Oklahoman's Chris Casteel reports that, "Republican congressional candidate James Lankford may be new to politics, but he and his campaign have figured out how to raise money in the last few weeks. Since Aug. 6, Lankford has raised nearly $170,000 just in contributions of $1,000 or more, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission. Since many people give less than $1,000, Lankford’s overall take in the last three weeks is likely much higher. Nearly 100 people have given $1,000 or more to his campaign since early this month."
