Fred Morgan To Head State Chamber

Fred Morgan is the new president and CEO of the The State Chamber, it was announced today.
Morgan, now the general counsel and senior policy advisor to the Oklahoma Senate leadership, will take over on April 1st, Chairman of the Board Phil Kennedy said.
Morgan replaces Dick Rush, who served for 23 years. Morgan apparently will spend the next several months working with Rush.
Kennedy wrote to members, "As you know, our devoted and longtime President and CEO, Dick Rush, is retiring effective March 31st. Several weeks ago we formed a search committee, and last week the committee selected a candidate for recommendation to the executive committee. Just yesterday, the executive committee, by a unanimous vote, selected Fred Morgan as our new President and CEO."
Morgan, sources say, will be replaced in the Senate by former Senator Jim Williamson.
